- A filtered swimming lake is just 15 mins drive from the mill - boating, walking, fishing, and a shop & café can also be found here
- Cycles can be hired in Tournus, and further afield are the Voies Vertes (dedicated cycing & rollerblading tracks made from canal towpaths or former railway tracks)
- Tennis courts are available in nearby Romenay (8 mins) or Louhans (12 mins)
- Golf – there are several courses nearby, including Mâcon La Salle, Val de Sorne at Lons and Chalon-sur-Saône
- Boat trips can be made from Louhans, Cuisery, Pont-de-Vaux, Tournus, Chalon-sur-Saône
- Local markets are plentiful - the Monday market in Louhans (the fourth largest agricultural market in France) is a vibrant regional landmark where locals come to socialise as much as shop. The Sunday morning food market in
Chalon-sur-Saône is also well worth a visit.
